I just love collecting...

It's more than grains of sand or meteorite shards—it's about connecting
with the world's wonders, preserving them through photos, and painting
the ocean’s whispers onto canvas.

Geologic Collections and Seascape Paintings

My Guilty Pleasures

A psammophile is a plant or animal that thrives in sandy places. The word comes from the Ancient Greek ψάμμος (psámmos), meaning "sand," and -philo (φίλος, phílos), "dear" or "beloved." As an avid collector of sand, I proudly wear the title—though arenophile works just as well.

My curiosity doesn’t stop at sand. I collect minerals, fossils, rocks, and meteorites, each piece a miniature chronicle of our planet’s history. When I’m not "hunting" for geological treasures, I paint seascapes, trying to capture the same raw beauty I find in nature’s textures.

This site is my cabinet of curiosities—amateur but heartfelt. I hope these fragments of the world inspire you as they do me.

My Paintings

Painting seascapes allows me to capture the ocean's raw energy—the fierce chaos of crashing waves and the relentless motion of the sea during a storm.
